1982年和1985年分別在湖南大學(xué)電氣工程系獲得學(xué)士和碩士學(xué)位,1991年在清華大學(xué)電機工程與應(yīng)用電子技術(shù)系獲得工學(xué)博士學(xué)位,留校任教至今。其中于1994-1997年在美國俄亥俄州立大學(xué)和美國加州大學(xué)歐文分校從事博士后研究工作,1998-1999年先后在加拿大哥倫比亞大學(xué)和香港大學(xué)進行高級訪問學(xué)者和研究教授工作?,F(xiàn)任清華大學(xué)電機工程與應(yīng)用電子技術(shù)系教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,電力系統(tǒng)國家重點實驗室副主任。兼任IEEE 電力電子學(xué)會(PELS)執(zhí)委會委員,IEEE 電力電子學(xué)會(PELS)會員發(fā)展委員會主席,IEEE 電力電子學(xué)會(PELS)北京分部主席,中國電工技術(shù)學(xué)會電力電子學(xué)會副理事長,北京電力電子學(xué)會副理事長,國家科技部風(fēng)力發(fā)電總體項目專家組成員,國防科工局太空太陽能發(fā)電站系統(tǒng)與總體專家組成員,世界工程組織聯(lián)合會(WFEO)-能源委員會太陽能專家工作組成員,英國工程與技術(shù)學(xué)會會士(IET Fellow)等職,擔(dān)任多種國內(nèi)外重要學(xué)術(shù)期刊副主編、編委和助理編委。主要研究方向包括:大功率高壓電力電子技術(shù)、光伏并網(wǎng)發(fā)電及其應(yīng)用、電機及其控制、無線電能傳輸?shù)?。先后負?zé)承擔(dān)完成多項國家攻關(guān)課題、國家“863”課題、國家自然科學(xué)基金重點和面上課題以及多項大型橫向科研課題和國際合作項目。在國際學(xué)術(shù)刊物上、國際會議以及國內(nèi)核心刊物上發(fā)表360多篇有關(guān)學(xué)術(shù)論文,其中EI源刊200余篇,SCI源刊30余篇;編著和參編8本科技書籍。已獲授權(quán)國家發(fā)明專利27項、軟件著作權(quán)15項。先后獲得省部級科技成果獎10余項,多次獲得國際學(xué)術(shù)會議優(yōu)秀論文獎。所指導(dǎo)的博碩士有6人獲得清華大學(xué)優(yōu)秀博士論文獎,3人獲得清華大學(xué)優(yōu)秀碩士論文獎。
