　　【歷史回眸】
　　煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)院始創(chuàng)建于1984年，前身是由北京大學(xué)法律系直接援建的煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法律系，刑法學(xué)教授楊殿升為第一任主任;民法學(xué)教授郭明瑞為第二任主任;刑訴法學(xué)教授汪建成為第三任主任。1999年由系改院，民法學(xué)教授房紹坤為第一任院長(zhǎng)，法理學(xué)教授湯唯為第二任院長(zhǎng)，經(jīng)濟(jì)法學(xué)教授金福海為第三任院長(zhǎng)，民法學(xué)教授張平華為第四任院長(zhǎng)。
　　【The History】
　　The School of Law of Yantai University was originally established in 1984 by the name of the Department of Law of the University with the direct aid of the Faculty of Law, Peking University. Criminal Law Professor Yang Dian-sheng was the first dean, Civil Law Professor Guo Ming-rui was the second, and Criminal Procedure Law Professor Wang Jian-cheng the third. In 1999, the Department was renamed as the School, with Civil Law Professor Fang Shao-kun as the first Dean, and Professor of Jurisprudence Tang Wei as the second, and Economic Law Professor Jin Fu-ha as the third. and Civil Law Professor Zhang Ping-hua as the fourth.

　　法學(xué)院現(xiàn)有教職員工62人，其中教授19人，副教授13人，博士生導(dǎo)師2人，碩士生導(dǎo)師32人。國(guó)家級(jí)教學(xué)名師1人，省級(jí)教學(xué)名師3人，享受國(guó)務(wù)院津貼的教師4人，山東省有突出貢獻(xiàn)的中青年專家2人，山東省十大優(yōu)秀法學(xué)家3人，百千萬(wàn)人才工程國(guó)家級(jí)人選1人，泰山學(xué)者特聘教授1人;有2位教師先后兼任教育部法學(xué)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員，有6位教師在全國(guó)性學(xué)術(shù)團(tuán)體中擔(dān)任常務(wù)理事以上職務(wù)，有兩位教授榮獲“山東省社科科學(xué)突出貢獻(xiàn)獎(jiǎng)”，兩位教師榮獲“山東省優(yōu)秀研究生指導(dǎo)教師”稱號(hào)，2名教師入選國(guó)家“百千萬(wàn)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)人才工程”首批百名高層次人才。
　　【The Faculties】
　　The School now has 62 faculty members, including 19 professors, 13 associate professors, and two of them are PhD supervisors and 32 of them are Masters’ supervisors. Among all the faculties, one teacher has been honored as the National Outstanding Teacher, and three teachers have been honored as the Outstanding Teacher of Shandong Province, and four teachers have been granted the State Council Special Allowance, and two teachers have been honored as Shandong Outstanding Young Expert, and three teachers have been honored as The Top Ten Outstanding Legal Experts, and one teacher has been awarded as the candidate for the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten-Thousand Talents Project, and one as Mont Tai scholar. Besides, two teachers have been the members of the National Legal education Guidance Committee of the Chinese Education Administration，and 6 teachers are standing members of all kinds of national level academic committees, and 2 professors have been honored to the Provincial Distinguish Contribution for the Social Sciences, and 2 teachers have been honored as the Outstanding Masters’ Supervisor in Shandong Province, and 2 teachers are selected as the first one hundred talents of the National Millions of Intellectual Property Talent Project.
　　除專任教師外，法學(xué)院聘請(qǐng)一批海內(nèi)外知名學(xué)者擔(dān)任客座和兼職教授，形成了一支由海內(nèi)外名師組成高水平兼職教師隊(duì)伍。聘請(qǐng)奧地利國(guó)家科學(xué)院院士、歐州侵權(quán)法研究院創(chuàng)始院長(zhǎng)Homulet Koziol教授、英國(guó)Bristol大學(xué)法學(xué)院Ken Oliphant教授、英國(guó)林肯大學(xué)法學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)Dunken French教授、加拿大麥吉爾大學(xué)李國(guó)利教授、臺(tái)灣東吳大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)潘維大教授等為客座教授，聘請(qǐng)北京大學(xué)、清華大學(xué)、中國(guó)人民大學(xué)、中國(guó)政法大學(xué)等名校的多名學(xué)者擔(dān)任客座教授，此外還從司法實(shí)務(wù)部門聘請(qǐng)了一批具有深厚學(xué)術(shù)造詣以及豐富實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)的學(xué)者和法官擔(dān)任兼職教授。
　　In addition to its full-time teaching staff, the School has also hired a number of renowned scholars and experts worldwide as its guest professors and part-time professors. This high level part-time staff team is lucky to have Professor Homulet Koziol(Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Austria, founding director of European Tort Law Institute), Professor Ken Oliphant (Law School of Bristol University, Britain), Professor Dunken French (Dean of Law School of Lincoln University), Professor Li Guoli (McGill University, Canada), Professor Pan Weida (President of SooChow University, Taiwan), and a number of legal scholars and judges with rich practical experience and great academic achievements from Beijing University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and law and other famous universities and judicial departments.

　　法學(xué)院設(shè)統(tǒng)一的法學(xué)本科專業(yè)，自1985年開(kāi)始招收本科生，2012年增設(shè)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)本科專業(yè)，2013年中美合作辦學(xué)法學(xué)本科專業(yè)(區(qū)域犯罪信息分析方向)開(kāi)始招生。煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)院始終堅(jiān)持教學(xué)的中心地位，不斷強(qiáng)化實(shí)踐教學(xué)，努力探索并建構(gòu)行之有效的應(yīng)用型、復(fù)合型卓越法律人才培養(yǎng)模式，構(gòu)建多元、立體化的教學(xué)改革總體思路，適應(yīng)多樣化法律職業(yè)的要求，堅(jiān)持厚基礎(chǔ)、寬口徑，強(qiáng)化學(xué)生法律職業(yè)倫理教育、強(qiáng)化學(xué)生法律實(shí)務(wù)技能培養(yǎng)，提高學(xué)生運(yùn)用法學(xué)與其他學(xué)科知識(shí)方法解決實(shí)際問(wèn)題的能力，促進(jìn)法學(xué)教育與法律職業(yè)的深度銜接。
　　【Education for Undergraduates】
　　The School offers a uniform program for undergraduates of law major. It began to enroll law undergraduates since 1985. In 2012, the major of intellectual property right was approved, and in 2013, the Sino-American legal program started to recruit students. The School of Law has attached great importance to teaching, and has been actively pushing forward the practice-based teaching, and try to formulate a effective education model to cultivate applicable and versatile legal talents, by emphasizing the ethics of legal professions, training practical skills, improving the abilities of solving problems and by effectively bridging the legal education with legal professions.
　　2012年法學(xué)院獲批教育部首批卓越法律人才教育培養(yǎng)基地，2013年法學(xué)專業(yè)獲批教育部“本科專業(yè)綜合改革試點(diǎn)”項(xiàng)目并入選山東省名校工程試點(diǎn)專業(yè);2013年依托法學(xué)院設(shè)立的煙臺(tái)大學(xué)文科綜合實(shí)訓(xùn)中心獲批山東省普通高等學(xué)校實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)示范中心;法學(xué)院現(xiàn)有校內(nèi)外實(shí)踐教學(xué)基地36所，2013年“煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)教育實(shí)踐基地”獲批教育部國(guó)家級(jí)大學(xué)生校外實(shí)踐教育基地，引領(lǐng)示范本校其他專業(yè)或同類高校相關(guān)專業(yè)及實(shí)踐基地建設(shè)。在質(zhì)量工程建設(shè)方面，法學(xué)院在已有的教育部高校特色專業(yè)建設(shè)點(diǎn)、民商法國(guó)家級(jí)教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)、民法國(guó)家級(jí)精品課和4門山東省精品課、9門山東省成人教育品牌專業(yè)特色課等質(zhì)量工程項(xiàng)目的基礎(chǔ)上，2013年民商法學(xué)入選首批120門中國(guó)大學(xué)精品資源共享課。2001年法學(xué)院成立英美法研究中心，自2006年起已連續(xù)開(kāi)辦7屆英美法方向班，由具有美國(guó)律師資格和JD學(xué)位的外籍教師授課，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的國(guó)際視野和跨文化交流能力，目前累計(jì)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生500余人。法學(xué)院不斷創(chuàng)新教學(xué)方式和教學(xué)方法，揚(yáng)棄傳統(tǒng)的講授式教學(xué)法，導(dǎo)入探究式、啟發(fā)式、討論式、比較法、案例法等適合于法學(xué)專業(yè)特點(diǎn)的先進(jìn)教學(xué)法，利用已經(jīng)建立的法學(xué)實(shí)訓(xùn)教學(xué)中心、大學(xué)生法律援助中心、法律診所等實(shí)踐教學(xué)平臺(tái)，逐步加大并完善與實(shí)務(wù)部門互相聘用、聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)的機(jī)制。
　　In 2012, the law school has become one of the first bases for Excellent Legal Talents Training Project, which is launched by the Ministry of Education. With its 36 legal practice bases, Law School of Yantai University has been honored as the national level practice base for college students in 2013 by the Ministry of Education. As for the education quality, the law school has its Characteristic Major named by the Ministry of Education, the National Teaching Team of the Civil and Commercial Law, the National Quality Course on Civil Law and 4 other provincial quality courses, and 6 provincial brand courses for adult education. Based on all these achievements, the Civil and Commercial Law course has been selected as one of the 120 National Public Courses of Chinese Universities in 2013. In 2001, the first "Anglo-American Law Research Center" in China was established at the Law School of Yantai University. And in 2006, a characteristic Anglo-American Law course is conducted in English to the students, by J.Ds and lawyers from the U.S. And after 7 years of the successive efforts, more than 500 students got benefits from such international legal education, which definitely broaden their horizons and communication levels crossing cultures. On the techniques of education, the faculties are struggling to test new and effective teaching methods, like Inquiry method, elicitation method, discussion method, comparison method and case method and so on, by taking advantage of all the established bases, like legal training center, legal aid center, legal clinics and so on.
　　【研究生教育】
　　煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)院于1998年獲碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)，2003年獲法律專業(yè)碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)，2006年獲法學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)，2005年開(kāi)始招收在職法律碩士。
　　作為全國(guó)首批法學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)授予單位和較早開(kāi)展法律碩士專業(yè)學(xué)位教育的地方高校法學(xué)院，在近15年的法科碩士研究生教育中我院導(dǎo)師團(tuán)隊(duì)積極改革探索，形成了以“多元-開(kāi)放-立體”為特色的法科研究生培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新模式，取得了優(yōu)異的培養(yǎng)成果。在2012年教育部與研究生教育發(fā)展中心組織的第三輪法學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科評(píng)估中，我院法學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科在全部參評(píng)的具有碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)的51家單位中，學(xué)科整體水平位列第1名，在包括博士一級(jí)學(xué)科單位的全部87家參評(píng)單位中，學(xué)科整體水平名列第29名。畢業(yè)研究生在國(guó)家機(jī)關(guān)、各地高校、大型企業(yè)、各級(jí)司法實(shí)務(wù)部門成為中堅(jiān)骨干力量，多人成為單位的領(lǐng)軍人物。
　　【Education for Graduates】
　　Law School of Yantai University was awarded to grant Master’s degree in 1998 and Law Major Master’s degree in 2003. In 2006, it was awarded to grant Masters’ Degree of the first level Law Discipline, and also began to recruit on-job postgraduates for master’s degree at the same year.
　　As one of the earliest law schools which have legal masters’ degree education in China, a “Diverse-Open-Comprehensive” cultivation style for the graduates’ education is gradually formed by the faculties with the 15 years experiences on the reform of the graduates’ education, which contributes to lots of achievements. In 2012, according to the evaluation by the Ministry of Education, Law school of Yantai University ranked 1st among all the 51 law schools which have the authorities of granting masters’ degrees, and ranked 29th among all the 87 law school which have authorities of granting doctors’ degrees. Owing to such high quality education, the graduates of Law School of Yantai University are popular after they gradated.
　　【科研工作】
　　煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)院的科研工作取得了令人矚目的成績(jī)，迄今共承擔(dān)國(guó)家社會(huì)科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目26項(xiàng)，教育部課題16項(xiàng)，其他省部級(jí)課題70余項(xiàng);出版各類法學(xué)著作200余部，發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文1200余篇;獲省部級(jí)優(yōu)秀科研成果獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)60余項(xiàng)(其中中國(guó)高校人文社會(huì)科學(xué)研究?jī)?yōu)秀成果獎(jiǎng)4項(xiàng)，山東省社會(huì)科學(xué)重大成果獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng))。法學(xué)院教授還作為民商法專家參加了國(guó)家的立法活動(dòng)，參與《中華人民共和國(guó)合同法草案建議稿》、《中華人民共和國(guó)物權(quán)法草建議稿》、《中華人民共和國(guó)侵權(quán)責(zé)任法草建議稿》、《中華人民共和國(guó)民法典草案建議稿》等立法草案的起草工作。
　　【Academic Research】
　　The School has also made a remarkable achievement in its scientific research work. So far, it has hosted 26 State Social Science Fund Projects, 16 Projects of the Ministry of Education, and other more than 70 provincial or ministerial projects. It has already published over 220 books of Law and more than 1200 academic articles. In the meantime, it has achieved 60 provincial or ministerial level research awards. The faculties also made their efforts in influencing the legal society by contributing to the legislation, like The Draft of Contract Law of P.R.C, The Draft of Property Law of P.R.C, The Draft of Tort Law of P.R.C, The Draft of Civil Code of P.R.C and so on.
　　【對(duì)外交流】
　　煙臺(tái)大學(xué)法學(xué)院堅(jiān)持立足國(guó)內(nèi)，面向世界的視野，積極推動(dòng)教學(xué)科研工作的對(duì)外交流，先后與澳大利亞昆士蘭大學(xué)法學(xué)院、美國(guó)威斯康辛大學(xué)法學(xué)院、英國(guó)林肯大學(xué)法學(xué)院、韓國(guó)全南大學(xué)法學(xué)院、美國(guó)杜蘭大學(xué)法學(xué)院、歐洲侵權(quán)法研究院、美國(guó)西俄勒岡大學(xué)等簽署了全面合作協(xié)議，形成了良性的教師互訪及學(xué)生留學(xué)深造機(jī)制。與以英美法教育見(jiàn)長(zhǎng)的臺(tái)灣東吳大學(xué)法學(xué)院進(jìn)行制度化的深層次交流合作，自2002年起，先后選派14名青年教師和20余位學(xué)生前往東吳大學(xué)進(jìn)修英美法學(xué);設(shè)立英美法研究中心，先后聯(lián)合舉辦了3屆海峽兩岸暨國(guó)際性研討會(huì)等，2006年度我院對(duì)臺(tái)交流項(xiàng)目被評(píng)為“山東省優(yōu)秀對(duì)臺(tái)交流項(xiàng)目”。先后舉辦“泰山國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)論壇”、“中日民商法研究會(huì)年會(huì)”、“英美法教育國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)”、“首屆中歐私法國(guó)際論壇”等一系列國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議。
　　【International Co-operations】
　　With a global outlook, the Law School of Yantai University has made great efforts to promote academic exchanges in teaching and research, and has signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with Queensland University Law School in Australia, Law School of University of Wisconsin and Law school of University of Tulane and Western Oregon University in the U.S, Lincoln University Law School in U.K., the School of Law of Chonnam National University in Korea, and Tort Law Institute in Europe, forming a healthy mechanism for exchange of visits of the teachers and students for further study. The School has also established a systematic and in-depth educational cooperation and exchange with Soochow University Law School in Taiwan since 2002, annually sending 14 teachers and 20 postgraduate students to study Anglo-American Law which is Soochow Law School’s strength. So far, the two Schools have jointly organized three cross-strait &international seminars. In 2006, the exchange program with Soochow Law School was awarded as "Shandong Excellent Exchange Program with Taiwan". In recent years, there are several import forums are held by Law School of Yantai University, like Mont Tai International Academic Forum, Annual Meeting of Chinese-Japanese Civil Law Society, International Academic Forum on Anglo-American Law Education and the 1st Sino-European Private Law Forum and so on.
